Review

Celebrating their 50th anniversary, this Japanese sweet shop has its bean paste factory adjoining and sells bean paste for other stores including Ginza Akebono and Ningyocho Kamedo. While the seasonal sweet bean paste filled sweets always hit the spot for customers, yaki kintsuba (grilled wheat cake filled with adzuki), which is available throughout the year, is so popular that it often sells out before the morning is out. Drop in here for a rare opportunity in Tokyo to try kudzu yaki (grilled arrowroot)
