Review

Always wanted to decorate your home with one of those traditional Japanese wind bells? Head over to Asakusa's Shinohara Maruyoshi, a family factory and shop dealing in Edo-style fuurin that make a clear, summery sound when catching the wind. Every item here is handmade, ensuring uniqueness and making these pretty pieces of craftsmanship great souvenirs. You can even try making your own little bell, but don't get discouraged if blowing the glass turns out to be harder than it looks.
