Review

From its intersection with Yamate Dori, running about two miles south-west, Meguro Dori is dotted with dozens of quirky, independently run shops specialising in home furnishings. Nicknamed ‘Interior Dori’, the street offers every imaginable type of furnishing, from tatty antiques to fashionably minimalist Italian kitchens. Most of what’s on offer is imported from Europe or the States, but there’s still plenty of Made in Japan merchandise to be found. It’s not the easiest area to access, but catch the Toyoko line to Toritsu Daigaku and walk towards Meguro.
