Few dining destinations in Omotesando can rival the wow factor of the Gyre building's 4th floor terrace, a 30-seat expanse that hovers at roughly the same height as the trees lining the avenue. Previously home to Portuguese restaurant Perola Atlantica, the location has been given a glitzy Italian makeover by Stillfoods, the company behind Roppongi's 37 Steakhouse & Bar and the Pizzeria 1830 chain. Tuscan-born chef Fabrizio Orru – a veteran of Shirokane's Luxor and Higashi-Azabu's Il Pinolo – takes charge of the menu, with dinner sets starting from ¥5,800 and a cheap ¥1,300 pasta lunch deal to lure local shoppers.
