This Hawaiian import had barely clocked up half a year in the Tokyo Skytree's Solamachi mall before it upped and moved to a larger location in the basement of Omotesando's Gyre building. Don't expect any less of a wait, though: diners will diligently queue for a few hours at the weekend to get their fruit-laden pancakes, French toast and waffles. If you'd prefer something savoury, Cafe Kaila also offers sandwiches, scrambled eggs, omelettes and quesadillas, with a decent range of vegetarian options.
