Review

The Savoy makes some of the most fabled scones in all of London, but you no longer have to go that far just to try them: Tokyoites can now get a taste at this patisserie overseen by the hotel's executive pastry chef, Martin J Chiffers. Housed in the basement food hall of Ginza's Mitsukoshi department store, Chiffers offers a range of tempting shortbreads, cakes and other sweet treats, though it's the scones (¥210 each) that are the real draw.
