Review

Even by Roppongi's standards, a visit to Kingyo can be a real eye-opener: those dishy damsels performing in the evening shows are actually all transvestites and transsexuals. This remarkable cabaret-restaurant has been in business for over two decades now, picking up a fair amount of international notoriety in the process. There are a couple of gender-bending stage shows each night, from 7.30pm and 10pm; expect to pay a ¥3,500 performance charge in addition to at least one food and drink order.
