Review

Already considered the king of the Tokyo yakitori scene, Imai recently expanded to Iidabashi and continues to woo patrons with only the finest chicken, namely Akita Prefecture's free-range hinai-jidori, known as the 'Kobe beef of chickens' and raised on an exclusively vegetarian diet. Everything from rare 'white liver' to standard choices like wings and breast are available, while customers can also try kiritanpo, the toasted rice sticks that are a true Akita speciality.
