It's that time of the year again...Time Out Tokyo's Christmas/year-end party returns in style, offering a beefy lineup of some of the finest music the city has to offer right now. In addition to the delicacies served at our very own Time Out Café and Diner, the night's highlights include appearances by a wide range of Tokyo's best up-and-coming artists. Show your non-JP passport or resident card at the door and get in for ¥500 (that includes a drink, too)!
Five performers have been confirmed so far:
A recent graduate of the Red Bull Music Academy, which took Tokyo by storm this past autumn, Albino Sound is a promising multi-instrumentalist with a knack for true innovation:
Cutely dressed but quick with her rhymes, rapper Sailor Kannako and VJ/collage artist Ojigi are upstart unit Ewamoru:
Third one up is DJ Machiko Machida, who's also been successful as the songwriter for emerging poppers Lemon:
The lineup is rounded out by VJ Atamagaguanguan and French-Japanese singer-songwriter Maika Leboutet, who just came out with her debut album, 100 (Momo). Featured in numerous commercials, movies and TV dramas, her catchy tunes are already showing clear hit potential.
