Review

Doing a roaring trade in steamed dumplings and noodles on the streets of Singapore's Chinatown since 1989, Jing Hua has also long been popular with Japanese expats and tourists, so it was no surprise to see the restaurant expand to these shores with a Ginza branch in 2014. Less than two years after that, Jing Hua is opening its second Tokyo location, now treating Ebisu folk to delicious seafood-and-pork dumplings, pan-fried noodles, steamed duck and more – all from August 5. The dumplings start at around ¥500 per plate, while reasonably priced and filling set deals (¥2,000-¥3,000) are also available.
