Restaurants & Cafés

Review

You might be surprised by how many restaurants serve tendon (tempura over rice) in touristy Asakusa, but not exactly all meet the quality of their prices. Established in 1870, Tempura Nakasei is known for its kakiage-don (¥2,625), topped with crispy prawn and clam kakiage. Featuring a garden with carps swimming in the pond, the atmosphere here is like that of a traditional ryotei restaurant.
