Review

On a busy day, up to 3,000 customers go through the door at Milan's Gelateria Marghera, probably the city's most famous ice cream shop. You can expect similar queues at the gelato supremos' first Japanese branch, which opened in July 2013 at a plum location in central Azabu-Juban. The Tokyo incarnation of Gelateria Marghera serves 36 different flavours of ice cream, including some Japan-only varieties, plus signature desserts such as the dopocena, made with gelato and semifreddo.
