Serving comfort food with a twist, Caligari adds coconut milk to its Japanese-style curry-and-rice, which you can supplement with toppings ranging from okra and fried aubergine to foie gras. If you don't go overboard with the toppings, it's possible to eat for under ¥1,000 even at dinnertime, though be warned that the restaurant closes fairly early each day.
