Restaurants & Cafés

Review

This small area, formerly a produce market, consists of around 10 short alleys hosting mainly Asian restaurants and a few traditional watering holes. Try raw noodles or bánh mì sandwiches at the Vietnamese spots or fill up on Korean goodies at the izakayas – all great stops on a Koenji gourmet tour. Local youngsters, however, seem to prefer the many ramen and curry joints also found here.
