Love for Japan

Mon Mar 28 - Tue Mar 29, 2011 Blue Note Tokyo

Time Out says

When you're the most famous jazz venue in the whole of Japan, you get to know a few people. We're sure that plenty of arms were twisted and favours called in to assemble the Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Band but, crikey, what a line-up. Trumpeter Eric Miyashiro's EM Band will provide the musical core for two nights of charity jamming, with special guests including pianist Yosuke Yamashita (Tuesday only), violinist Naoko Terai, saxman Masato Honda and trumpeter Terumasa Hino. A portion of proceeds go to the Japanese Red Cross Society, and there will also be a collection taken each night.
