Review

On a clear day it’s good to enjoy a meal in a bright, retro style café that has its windows thrown open to welcome the sunshine –vegetarian café Alaska is just such a place. The brain child of Shunji Mori, occasional DJ and member of the band Natural Calamity, Alaska boasts a counter, giving the place a vibe that is just right for lone patrons. On any given day there are plenty of solitary female customers taking advantage of this happy fact. Just next door is the Fhont Shop, which is run by the stylist Honma Ryoji, who happens to be Mori’s best friend.
