Talk about specialisation – this newly opened Jiyugaoka bakery and café describes itself as a 'madeleine expert', crafting the classic French butter cookies from gourmet ingredients like vanilla beans from Madagascar and exclusively free-range eggs. Additives are of course also completely off the table when it comes to these treats, which are available in a range of flavours – from vanilla to 'Italian cheese'. The in-store café serves 'Madeleine lunches' – try them if you dare.
