New openings

Review

Gyoza dumplings are hardly the most fashionable delicacies out there, but that just may be about to change. At least, that's the stated objective of this newly opened 'gyoza café and bar' in Takadanobaba: in addition to the light, delicately juicy standard dumplings that can be dipped in sauces ranging from soy to aromatic oils, Sou serves original creations like coriander gyoza and tomato soup gyoza (¥600 each), which can be combined with import beers and curious cocktails such as shochu with passion fruit and acai berries. Make sure to finish your meal with one of their homemade custard puddings.
