Located just a block from Tokyo International Forum and a short walk from Tokyo Station, Cafe Salvador seems ideally positioned for the nomad worker set – and that's before you take the free WiFi into account. A tie-up with magazine publishers Condé Nast ensures that there's always plenty of reading matter at hand (including some imported titles), and – as with sister shop Wired Cafe – there are iMacs and iPads that customers are free to use. The kitchen churns out solid, if not terribly inspiring, Western-style dishes including ciabatta sandwiches and salads; we're bigger fans of the cocktails and frozen smoothies, served in jars rather than glasses.
