Founded in 1625, this shop is a directly managed store of Fukumitsu-ya, a long-established sake brewery in Kanazawa, a prefecture famed for sake. They sell pure sake such as Kaga-tobi, Kuro-obi, Fukumasanune and Mizuho, as well as freshly made, seasonal and limited sakes. There is a standing-bar inside the shop, where you can taste fine sake direct from the warehouse. The dimmed lighting and wooden counter creates a comfortable atmosphere. They also offer a tasting set with three different kinds of sake, special glasses and snacks which go very well with pure sake. Free tasting events are held every weekend.
