Dishing out pizzas for just ¥500 on weekday lunches, Hiroo's Pizzeria Bar Napoli undercuts the local competition by more than half. If you've ever eaten at nearby Partenope, you'll probably be able to see where they're making the savings, but the quality is generally better than at the even-cheaper Napoli's Pizza Caffe chain – and has improved noticeably since the place first opened. (You can spring for a ¥1,000 lunch set including soup, salad, drink and dessert, but we wouldn't recommend it.) Sat directly opposite the local Starbucks, and with a front that opens out onto the street, the restaurant has been doing a roaring lunchtime trade since it opened last autumn. The prices go up considerably at dinnertime, when the kitchen also turns out a variety of antipasti and entrees including acqua pazza.
