Bangkok residents would probably balk at the prices, but they couldn't complain about the quality of the grub at this elegant Thai restaurant in Roppongi. Jasmine Thai doesn't tone the spices down too much for the benefit of sensitive local palates, meaning that dishes like phu nim tod phad prik (deep-fried soft shell crab with fresh pepper) pack a hearty kick. The ¥1,000 weekday lunch sets are good value, with a selection that changes daily.
