Restaurants & Cafés

Review

It's just a few paces away from Takeshita-dori, Harajuku's youth shopping Mecca, but this old-fashioned café couldn't feel much further removed. Christie first opened in 1980, and it's clung stubbornly to its image of twee, English-style tea rooms ever since. If you need to unwind after a day of retail madness, pull up a chair and order their tea and scone set, for a relaxingly retro treat.
