This determinedly uncommercial music fest was originally supposed to take place at an outdoor stage in Ome, but when the local authorities told the organisers they wouldn't be able to use drums (!), it forced a last-minute change of plans. Now relocated to the more welcoming (and far smaller) Sound Studio Dom in Koenji, the event offers a change to get sweatily intimate with two dozen choice underground acts, ranging from anarchic post-punks The Mornings to upbeat indie rockers Kettles, with visiting guests including Sendai retro guitar-slingers The Jikens and Taiwanese punks Wayne So Sad. See the timetable on the website for details.
