Co-founder of the Berlin-based Perlon label and an innovator on the minimal scene since the mid-'90s, Zip aka Thomas Franzmann is perhaps best known for the Superlongevity compilations he produces together with genre giants like Ricardo Villalobos and Thomas Melchior. He now makes a long-awaited appearance at Chaos, the regular party run by Tokyo techno don Fumiya Tanaka, whose contribution to 2010's Superlongevity 5 was one of that record's more memorable cuts.
