Run by the company behind the Aoyama Laputa wedding complex, 347 Cafe is a popular spot for wedding receptions, but it's thronged with amorous couples whatever the day you go. The poolside location aims for a romantic resort feel, although it's starting to show its age, and the oversized bottles of Moet & Chandon – just for decoration, natch – are a tacky touch. Appetizers start from ¥900 and mains from ¥1,200, and it's hard to shake the feeling that you're paying for the location rather than the quality of the food. The same applies to the drinks – the house wine is abysmal, and the mojito we order is sickly sweet. Go for the 5-7pm happy hour, when most tipples are ¥500.
