Review

Bagel Standard is a New York-style bagel shop located an approximate 10- minute walk from Naka-Meguro station along Yamate-dori in the direction of Meguro. The shop prides itself on producing bagels with an authentic New York flavour. The shop’s owner, Minoru Yabushita – who learned to make bagels at New York’s famed bagel mecca Kossar’s Bialys, uses North American wheat flour to create bagels with a firm feel and a truly American taste. Bagels here are takeaway only, however, in front of the shop you’ll find two reasonably sized benches that customers can use to sit down and enjoy their bagels on. Alternatively, the Meguro River is only a few minute’s walk away, and makes for a great place to enjoy a bagel or two. The shop closes once the day’s stock of bagels has been sold.

I can affirm; this place is really good. Minoru, you're doing a great job! Now if you only had discounts for buying a dozen at once... :)
