Good news for carnivores: Latin American-style barbecue restaurants are on the way to becoming something of a trend in Tokyo. Rio Grande opened in Roppongi just a few months ago, while Aoyama's Barbacoa recently expanded to Shibuya. Now, newcomer Gocchi Batta is attempting to break into the market with a combination of high-quality churrasco and self-serve beer. The buffet is stocked with more than 30 kinds of Brazilian food, while the nine beer taps provide both domestic and international brews for your boozing pleasure. Finally, if you're more of a cocktail type, just choose from more than 100 (!) options at the bar. Sounds like they've got the numbers down at least – will that be enough to overcome the competition?
