Review

This sophisticated and secluded restaurant is the place for pork shabu shabu and pluck hot pot. ‘Platinum pork’, the finest in Iwate prefecture, is thinly sliced and cooked in 100 per cent sake dashi broth. The sweetness of this premium pork is complemented by gion, a Kyoto-grown hot pepper served as a condiment, which is said to be the spiciest in Japan and ten times as hot as regular chilli peppers. Rich sesame dipping sauce is blended with foie gras, making a meal here a luxurious experience. There is an open dining area as well as three private rooms all equipped with karaoke to accommodate different occasions.
