If you ever find yourself hankering for outstanding Chinese food in Kanda's Awajicho, there's no better place than this. Three courses (starting at ¥5,250) form the backbone of the dinner menu, but à la carte choices also abound. For those looking for an accessible place for gatherings or business dinners, Yunrin stocks everything from shaoxingjiu (Chinese rice wine) to wines and top-class teas. The cuisine here casts a wide net, both in terms of geography and flavour, with high-class dried ingredients like abalone and shark fin being well represented. Try the stir-fried lamb, seasoned with coriander and green onions, or aemen dry noodles. The quality on offer at lunch time is also top notch; you can get your hands on tantanmen noodles or mapo dofu for a mere ¥1,000.
