Review
Koichi Kobari closed his popular soba joint in NYC to open this Roppongi shop, and SoHo's loss was our gain. Even measured against the far stiffer local competition, Honmura An's noodles are superb, while Kobari has also successfully transplanted the chic, modern look of the original New York restaurant to this Tokyo location. It's a popular haunt for expats and overseas visitors, and English menus are the norm.
