Aeon LakeTown

This is Japan's first Eco shopping center designed with a concept of being comfortable for both people and nature. It has a plenitude of restaurants in addition to the obvious fashion shops. The facility boasts the largest solar panels in a commercial facility in Japan with a size equaling that of four 50m Olympic size swimming pools and is thus able to reduce 175 tons of CO2 emissions per year. It is also actively engaged in many other Eco efforts including wall gardens in a portion of the facility. As many families visit the facility, a service is provided to find lost children using cell phones.
