Sure, it's owned by Unilever these days, but Ben & Jerry's has stayed true to its hippy roots. For one day each year, the Vermont-based ice cream maker maintains a noble tradition of giving away free cones at all of its branches around the world – a sweet deal that you can now enjoy in Tokyo too. This year's Free Cone Day falls on April 9, so head to the Ben & Jerry's shops in Omotesando Hills, Coppice Kichijoji or Lalaport Toyosu to get your complimentary treat. Oh, and bring a good book: there's probably going to be quite a wait.
