Toys, self-made instruments, metal sheets and pieces of bamboo might find their way into the stew during the course of a performance by Marginal Consort, Kazuo Imai's annual collective improv project. For the seventh year running, the mercurial guitarist and his troupe of fellow musicians (that's Koshikawa T, Kei Shii and Masami Tada) will be hitting SuperDeluxe on Sunday for an expansive, three-hour session.
