When was the last time you saw a 'traveling algorithmic ensemble'? If you answered anything other than 'never' to that question, you're probably lying – but either way, you'd do well to head to SuperDeluxe to see NYC improv stalwart Elliott Sharp unveil his latest project, SysOrg. While we're not entirely sure what all of this algorithmic business is going to involve, it's hard to dispute the pedigree of the musicians involved, who include guitarist Jim O'Rourke, koto player Michiyo Yagi, bassist Pearl Alexander and drummer Tatsuhisa Yamamoto.
