Time Out says

As Grand Salvo, Melbourne musician Paddy Mann makes a brand of folk music that's never twee or cloying. Recently released sixth album Slay Me In My Sleep sees him return to the sweeping style of 2008's Death, exploring themes of memory and time over the course of a song cycle narrative. He wraps up a short Japan tour in support of the album's release with a gig in Shimokitazawa's Fujimigaoka Church. The event also serves as a release party for Rang, the second album from sitar-playing singer Minakumari, while featuring additional support from bucolic electronica artist Cokiyu.
