Review

Shimokitazawa is one of Tokyo's 'ramen battlegrounds', and Bokusei sure looks to be on the winning side – for a bowlful of reasons. The Shoyu Ramen here comes with a classic set of toppings like cabbage, bamboo shoots and chashu pork, plus unique, curly noodles swimming in the rich soy sauce-based soup. Laidback jazz and blues tunes complete the atmosphere.
