If you like your guitar bands weird and gnarly, you'd be hard pressed to find a better gig this Saturday. The latest of the annual Koenji Pop Festivals corrals together eight post-punky and indie bands, including the pummeling Tacobonds, the febrile-slash-ferral Otori and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs-baiting Praha Depart. Also keep an eye out for The New House – a quintet who've clearly been listening to current developments in US indie and taking copious notes – and PQ, whose fusion of no-wave and late Canterbury scene tomfoolery sounds unlike anything else you'll hear in the capital at the moment.
