Time Out says

When Steely Dan opened Tokyo's new Billboard Live venue back in 2007, the gigs were some of the most expensive the city had seen since the Bubble Era, clocking in at a whopping 23,000 yen for a 90-minute show. It's taken a while for anybody to top that, but hats off to septuagenarian piano tinkler Herbie Hancock for being the one to do it. The jazz legend's one-night-only Tokyo engagement – tickets for which work out at a bargain 278 yen per minute – finds him drawing on his Grammy-winning 2010 album, The Imagine Project. While that record was overburdened with collaborators (the first track alone featured Pink, Indie Arie, Konono No 1, Jeff Beck and Oumou Sangaré), Hancock's touring band is a lot more streamlined, featuring drummer Trevor Lawrence, Jr, bassist James Genus and singer Kristina Train.
