Kalua Pig Lemon Saimin

Tue Sep 1 - Wed Sep 30, 2015 39Yoshoku

Time Out says

Following noodle delicacies like lemon and tomato ramen, Bakurocho's Hawaiian cuisine specialists 39Yoshoku break out a new creation for September, serving up island-style saimin noodles flavoured with lemon and topped with copious amounts of kalua pig. This traditional Hawaiian pork dish is cooked in an underground oven for up to seven hours, making it aromatic and supremely tender, and then shredded for consumption. Sounds like it'll make a mouth-watering match with the shop's crisp lemon soup, which continues to attract hordes of hungry patrons even on weekdays.
