Well respected among those who prefer their giblets grilled and saloons cheap, Yakiton is a real Asakusabashi gem. Look for the clouds of smoke ascending from the grill, find your place by the standing-only bar, and dig into some juicy pork skewers that are the perfect complements to beer or sake. Everything from tongue and intestines to pig hearts are ¥100 per stick, and there’s also plenty of other choices on the menu - try the salty stews for a warm taste that drives away the winter chill.
Transport Asakusabashi Station (Sobu line), west exit.
