Time Out says

Described as 'today's freshest world roots band', this Brooklyn-born multinational unit boasts members from Jamaica, Haiti, South Africa, Nigeria, Japan and the US. Mixing reggae, funk, jazz, hip-hop and more into an organic, lively concoction, they recently came out with their second album, Havana to Kingston, which draws on influences from Fela Kuti to Bob Marley and beyond. If their show doesn't put a smile on your face, nothing will. Tickets are available now through Lawson Ticket – search for 'Brown Rice Family'.
