Time Out says

Catapulted into the spotlight by some canny guest appearances – including Disclosure's 'Latch' and Naughty Boy's 'La La La' – young singer-songwriter Sam Smith boasts a wonderfully smooth and delicate voice. Despite making his name with two dance-pop hits, his debut album In the Lonely Hour is full of melancholy balladry, but that hasn't done him any harm: Sad Sam has become a massive star on both sides of the Atlantic. He now makes his Japan debut with an all-acoustic gig in the unlikely surroundings of Uguisudani's Kinema Club. This one is not to be missed, so get ready to scramble for tickets from December 20.
