Time Out says

The Smiths co-founder, composer and current alt-rock guitar god Johnny Marr has worked with a who's who of musicians throughout his magnificent career. Since The Smiths disbanded, he's spent every year as a full-fledged member of at least one band, from the Pretenders to Electronic to Modest Mouse to the Cribs. In 2013, Marr released his first-ever solo album, The Messenger, filled with his euphoric playing, and a follow-up, Playland, hit shelves in October last year. Drawing on his extensive experience, Marr can always be counted on to deliver – just look at him rescheduling this gig from January (cancelled due to an illness in the family) and returning to Liquidroom in July.
