The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas brings his new band to Tokyo to play a date in support of the outfit's fresh and critically acclaimed new album, the October release Tyranny. While Casablancas' new gang still thrash out tunes with the punky energy of The Strokes, The Voidz music has an experimental edge to it, taking in anything from melodic lo-fi to mild electronic dabblings. Intriguing stuff. Tickets go on sale November 29.
