Japan’s top metal festival returns for two days of heady headbanging, headlined by cult giants Manowar and prog juggernaut Dream Theater. While the latter may have slowed down significantly in recent years, Manowar continue to milk their hilariously awesome fantasy sound for all its worth – expect a healthy turnout of Japanese Metal Warriors cheering on their heroes. Power metal technicians DragonForce, Dutch symphonic group Within Temptation and German thrashers Kreator will be providing capable support, while Arch Enemy will be appearing with their new vocalist, Alissa White-Gluz.
