Time Out says
Jon Cowherd is much more than just a pianist. Having focused more and more on producing in recent years, this Kentucky-born and New York-based virtuoso released his first album as a band leader last year. He now brings that band, the 'Mercy Project' (featuring Brian Blade on the drums, Steve Cardenas on the guitar, and John Patitucci on the bass), to Cotton Club for four nights of gigs.
