The company behind the BBQ Village concept runs a similar set up in various locations around Tokyo and Kanagawa (Tachikawa, Odaiba, Kasai Seaside Park, Kashiwanoha Park, Hakone), but the largest in the capital is located next to Tamagawa Station. The idea is simple: turn up, pay your money, receive all you need to have a quality BBQ party in a pleasant setting. Prices start from ¥2,000 per person (add at least ¥1,500 each to that for all-you-can-drink alcohol), which gets you an easy to use gas cooking stand and a variety of meat and veg to burn on it, yours for three hours of merriment. Set up and clean up are not your problems to worry about, which is surely the big pull here. Reservations are highly recommended.
