This café takes its name from the species of song bird, perhaps because of its peaceful views of the lush Happo-en gardens and their feathered residents, which make it easy to forget you're in the city. The menu consists of casual French cuisine, which incorporates traditional Japanese ingredients such as sesame and miso soy paste. The beer garden opens during the summer, running until the end of September, while the terrace has seating for 28 people with a section for smokers.
