This Aoyama restaurant boasts a long line of loyal patrons who’ve been enjoying its mild take on Taiwanese cuisine for years. Head to Fumin's basement location on Kotto-dori to munch on staple dishes like negi wonton, made with shredded onion and ginger, black pepper, hot sesame oil and wonton (an ideal match for a frosty beer); the superb natto gohan, served on a bed of crispy lettuce; and the butaniku no umeboshini made with pork simmered with dried plums – perfect for a quick energy boost when you’re feeling worn out. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable, making it an ideal Omotesando lunch spot.
